Popular questions

How much does it cost?

I provide a fixed quote before any work begins. Pricing depends on what you need: websites for small businesses typically start from $3,000; first AI workflow projects are usually $3,500–$6,500; and bespoke software builds typically start from $7,500. Check the pricing page for detailed examples — and remember, you only pay after you approve the finished preview.

How does the risk-free process work?

I start with a quick conversation about your goals, build your solution as a private preview you can review, and only move ahead when you approve it. Whether it's a website, an automation workflow, or a piece of custom software — if the preview isn't right, you simply walk away without paying.

What happens if I don't like the preview?

You pay nothing — full stop. I keep your project private, there's no invoice, and you're free to walk away with no further obligation. My process is designed to surface any concerns early so the preview matches your expectations.

How many revision rounds do I get during the preview?

Unlimited. The whole point of the preview phase is to get it right before you pay. I go back and forth as many times as needed until you're completely happy. Once you approve and pay, the 30-day unlimited change period begins — and any bugs are free to fix forever after that.

What exactly is included in the $0 upfront?

Everything up to approval: the initial strategy session, all design and development work, the private preview link, and as many revision rounds as it takes. You pay nothing until you've seen the complete, working solution and decided you love it. The only thing not included before payment is the live launch itself.

What if I want changes after I've approved and paid?

You get 30 days of included changes after launch — anything within the original scope. After that, additional changes are quoted separately at my standard rate. Bug fixes (things that break or don't work as intended) are always free, forever, regardless of when they're discovered.

Do you build new websites, or only revamps of existing ones?

Both. I build brand new websites from scratch and I revamp existing ones. Whether you have no site yet or you're tired of your current one, the same risk-free process applies — you see the finished result before you pay a cent.

What kinds of AI workflows do you build?

I usually start by fixing one painful admin bottleneck first. Common examples include enquiry triage and reply drafting, document intake and completeness checks, and operations summaries from multiple systems. The key difference is that these workflows can handle messy inputs and apply your business-specific logic, not just pass data between apps.

What is bespoke software and do I need it?

Bespoke software is a custom-built tool designed around exactly how your business works — rather than bending your processes to fit off-the-shelf software. If you're managing your business through spreadsheets, disconnected tools, or paper-based systems, a purpose-built solution might be worth exploring. I'll tell you honestly in my first call with you whether it makes sense for your situation.

How long does a project take?

It depends on the scope. Website builds and revamps typically run 2-3 weeks from first meeting to launch. First AI workflow projects are usually 2-5 weeks depending on complexity. Bespoke software builds vary — a simple internal tool might take 6-10 weeks, while a larger platform takes longer. I'll give you a realistic timeline upfront before any work begins.

What do you need from me to get started?

Just your goals, frustrations, and wish list. In that first conversation I listen to what you want to achieve, review what you currently have, and map out the best approach together. You don't need to know the technical details — that's my job.

Do you handle the technical delivery end-to-end?

Yes. For websites, I handle DNS, hosting, and email switchover so nothing breaks at launch. For AI workflows and software, I handle the build, integrations, testing, and deployment. I don't hand you a file and disappear — I get it live and working.

What are the ongoing costs after a website is live?

After launch, you'll have two ongoing costs: hosting fees (which I pass through at wholesale rates with zero markup) and domain renewal fees (which you pay directly to your registrar). During your quote call, I'll tell you exactly what the hosting will cost. Almost all of my clients pay between $35–65 per year for everything.

Who owns the domain and hosting?

You do. I prefer you keep your domain registered in your name so you have complete control. For hosting, I'll set up an account in your name with my recommended provider, and you'll pay them directly at wholesale rates. You're never locked in — you can move your site anywhere, anytime.

What support do I get after launch?

You receive 30 days of included support for tweaks or questions after launch, plus I'll fix any undiscovered bugs at no cost even after that window. For automation and software projects, I make sure everything is working as expected before I close out and I'm available if anything needs adjusting.

Will my new website work well on mobile and for Google?

Absolutely. I build every page mobile-first so it looks great on phones, tablets, and desktops, keep it running fast, and optimise it for Google so you can attract maximum search traffic.
